Apple iPhone 4 (GSM)
Iphone 4 or HTC EVO 4G make your vote
My personal vote is against AT&T rates and service. This holds nothing against the Iphone 4.
So, EVO it is and I think it's also a great phone.
Let's get an unbiased vote count.
#2: Glass screen built like helicopter and train windshield glass.
#3: Evo has larger screen, thus more inches to break if dropped or accidentally hit.
#4: iPhone app store has the most awesome games. Street Fighter 4, Civilization, Metal Slug, Splinter Cell. Beat that. Plus the graphics of the phone is going to kick the Evo's butt.
#5: My pick is the iPhone 4, I have tried the Droid by Verizon, Blackberry 9700 by AT&T, Palm Pre and Palm Pre Plus, and of course the iPhone 3GS which I currently have. I also bought a Evo on Saturday and I tried it out, I returned it yesterday. It was a good phone though I can't lie, but the size is the biggest problem as well as the resolution of the phone. Battery life was...

#1: My opinion, Honda Civic is better than a Cadillac in some ways. Once again, opinion based. And the fact that it is lighter is a big deal to me.
#2: Which is more used, "Gorilla Glass" or the Helicopter Glass?
#3: A screen to big is annoying because it takes so much space in my pocket. I don't like carrying phones in pouches.
#4: I am a gamer, I love games. I also own a 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, and a DSi. But having these mobile games on the iPhone is awesome, plus mobile game consoles like PSP and Nintendo DS in m...

To start again, #1, #2, and #4 are facts and have opinions in them. I am not trash talking, I am replying to the guy who said to give him some advantages, so in my opinion with facts I was giving advantages over the Evo.

I can see there is going to be allot of people making their personal choice. I can see reasons for both.

Seeing as Sprint's WiMax network leaves something to be desired (too little coverage) & the Evo's enormous size, I'm loathe to admit I'd go with the iPhone.
I feel so dirty.
4.8" x 2.6" x 0.5"
Here is the size of the iPhone 4
4.5" x 2.31" x 0.37"
WOW. That's such a huge difference. (notice the sarcasm?)
after you add "the cage" to the iPhone it's actually bigger than the EVO

Ah, delusional Apple fanboys, there to protect their master Jobs from attacks which don't actually exist in the first place.
It's enormous to ME, sycophant. To ME. The iPhone fits better in my pocket, as I don't use whatever 'cage' you're referring to.
Geezus. Save me from ignoramuses.
The EVO can do the same thing that the iPhone can do. The only big difference is the network prices, look & feel, hardware, its all about preference. The android market is growing and the os is getting better.

but they're BOTH HSPA 7.2, both GSM, same speed lol think about it
The Evo is a CDMA phone because Sprint is a CDMA network.

ACTUALLY we were talking about AT&T AND T-MOBILE... LEARN TO READ!
I did read.
I read the title and it reads, "Iphone 4 or HTC EVO 4G make your vote".
If there would have been something in the quote that you quoted stating that you were talking about AT&T and T-Mobile, I would have known that you were talking about something different.
I SAID
"I'd go with the iPhone because HSPA 7.2 is faster than Sprints "4G" network... it has been proven... and even PhoneScoop reviewed and said that HSPA 7.2 is faster."
SOMEONE REPLIED
"They're actually talking about T-MOBILE'S HSPA+ Network which is faster than Sprint's "4g" "
I SAID
"but they're BOTH HSPA 7.2, both GSM, same speed lol think about it"
Might wanna read that again...

I knew what you were talking about... after I went back and read the 'other' replies.
I was simply stating that the message quoted didn't say anything about what you were comparing so I just assumed that you were talking about the phones in the title.

I like the iPhone, I think it is a good device with tins of capabilities. But you have to jail-break it to get the same features that come stock on Android. The new iPhone is dazzling, of this I am positive. But, yet again, it is stuck on AT&T's network, which my wife had for several months before she left and I convinced her to get a Palm Pre instead of her BB Curve 8310 because the customer service was horrendous beyond all measure.. I can get the Evo now if I want it.
BONUS! I can use UNLIMITED DATA on the Evo vs. a 2GB cap on the new iPhone. Sure, tethering prices are different ($30 vs $20), but offering Netflix on a device and then capping the data limits is a slap in the face. So, ...
