Shouldn't you own the ip4 before you do a review???

I have been reading the reviews and the negative ones all endorse droid phones. How are you determining the features and everything for the phone if you don't own one? Are you playing with one in the store and reading negative blogs about the phone and then making your decision? I own the ip4 no regrets and none of the problems that have been blown up.

Why do you assume people do not own both? With 30 day free trials it costs nothing to own both phones at the same time. I have had both for awhile now. I will be canceling AT&T and staying with Sprint this coming monday. Wanted to be sure I was not staying with the iPhone before porting my numbers.

I would feel safe assuming that most people don't have both. I have neither. 🙂

By the way...both of my brothers got the EVO and it is pretty nice. I still prefer the iphone, but the EVO definitely has its perks.

They are both such strong devices that it is very hard to choose between them. One is such and awesome web experience and the other is an amazing camera and music player...and they both do everything well outside these specific strengths. The decision was made for me by the crappy AT&T service locally and how Apple is handling current issues.

For me, the only service issues I have are in a two mile stretch along one of the freeways here in Phoenix. Other than that, AT&T has worked well. I'll be honest though. If Verizon got the iphone, I would probably switch to it. I am more into the media and the iphone just meets my needs better. I really like my brother's EVO though. He took it off the charger this morning and 8 hours later the battery was still at about 85%! I guess those that are having major battery problems just use the phone A LOT! (which is pretty easy to do)

You are correct. There is now way anyone can make a educated comparison of the two phones unless you use both to their full capability.

I had the original Iphone and then the 3gs and the
Ip4 and i have loved my other phones , However after 2 weeks of ho-hum performance and a tone more dropped calls i sent the Ip4 back . Yes it has a pretty screen and a nice camera but thats all . the phone feels cheep and works worse than it feels . i went back to the 3gs and put os4 operating system on it and could not be happier .
So i sort yes own one the make your decision , for me it was a slam dunk to go back to the 3gs 😁
