MiTAC Mio 8380

So I have read the reviews of the Motorola "Smartphone" which from what I can tell, isn't that smart. I guess you either love it or hate it but I have found more information for the Mitac Mio on google.com & Mitac's website, but still lingering ?'s like if you can play mp3s through a stereo headset and whether the memory is SD/MMC, etc.

As far as Motorola goes, this is my opinion, speaking as someone with a previously "locked phone" with a "bad" carrier (cough..ATT Wireless..cough..)I noticed an immediate improvement in overall performance and reception once I switched carriers and unlocked my Nokia 3300 (music phone) to use on T-Mobile service. I have awesome coverage/reception anywhere I live (southern cal.), so I am hopeful that once I get Motorola unlocked, reception isn't an issue.

Anyone with more input on which of these phones is a better buy? I like the Mitac, but its seems to good to be true for a wireless phone from a company no one has ever heard of.!?!?!
(Psst! you can get either of these phones relatively cheap on eBay if you're desperate enough!)
