When are they getting this phone?

I work for Verizon Wireless and even I don't know when they will release this thing. It'll be nice to finally get a bar phone with an internal antennae. I'm tired at looking at ATT Wirless and the like and seeing them with these kind of phones. But, is the reception really bad on internal antennae phones? Just curious.

The reception is fine on internal antenna phones. If anything, it's a lot more cool not having to push an antenna up.

Interesting to see that Verizon is releasing a non AMPS CDMA phone. If you are outside of Verizon's digital network, this phone won't work. Guess they have to release something decent to shed them image of 'best network, worst phones'. 😁

We are in Wisconsin. Waiting for FedEx to deliver them. Should be here today. Retail on this phone would be like $149.99 . As to what color it comes in I'm not sure just yet. The face plates are not yet available to order through Verizon, to us at least. Maybe after market??? I would guess the OEM face plates will be like $24.99 or so.

Do you work in a Verizon store or RadioShack? I live in DC, and I still don't see it in either places.

What do you think of it so far?

Hi,

Looking to move to Verizon from T-Mobile in the new year. Don't need bells and whistles, just a reliable phone for calls/txt messages on a reliable network.

Does anyone own this phone? Thoughts so far?

Thanks,
Jeremy 😁

I do! It's great. I work at a Verizon authorized retail store and I could have had any phone but I chose this one because of the outstanding dependability of the Nokia phones and that you can have a variety of colors. The phones come in blue, as I'm sure you know, but I've got the green faceplates with pink and purple on order. So far, so good!

What authorized agent do you work at and where? I am in Ohio, and also work for one.
