I believe so. It certainly feels like glass (just got it this morning) and I read somewhere that it is the same gorilla glass.

I'm still using a screen protector. I don't care how tuff the glass is suppoed to be, that is a BIG area just begging to be damaged.

yeah get the antiglare privacy ones they are pimp!! it is nice in the sun and it makes sliding your thumb or fingers across the screen really nice, unlike the the normal screen protectors.

I had a Zagg Invisible Shield (full body) on my LG Dare. The piece on the screen started to peel up at the corners after about 6 months. When I took it off I could see that it had "yellowed" somewhat. Because of that, I figured a less expensive option might be better for my Driod X so I could change it for a fresh one every so often. I had the tech at Verizon go ahead and put one on my X at the store when I got the phone. I get a 25% discount on accessories so a 3-pack was only around $11.25. It seems to work great. Now if it starts to yellow or peel, it's only costing me about $3.75 each.
