Hi all Well I played with the new x for about n hour today at the store. Now before anyone jumps I am probably the most famous VZW customer in my town (no not bragging just I spend lots of time there good friends with the manager) They have one in for the staff to try out.
I have the incredible and have to say this may beat that. The screen is awesome and even brighter than my inc and even a tad faster. It is bigger but just about as thin as the inc. I like OP did not think that the screen size being only a what 3/4 inch more would matter but it is very very nice. We were watching movies on it and I have to say it was sweet.
Having physical buttons (4) on the front is nice as well but 2 of them are reversed as coming from the HTC. I t...

Do you think the battery will be any better than the Incredible? Also, how was it to type on the screen?

the droid x uses a newer processor that consumes less power than the inc. also the X comes with a 1500 mAh battery while the inc only comes with a 1300. All reviews from people with the phone have touted it to be above average for an android device.

Okay try to answer all questions.
Did not play with camera that much probably will need software update.
TOUCH was awesome better than INC.
WEB awesome better than INC.
TEXT to speech was better than my INC which I think is great already.
I have the 1500 on my INC and I use a lot and make it thru the day so should be comparable.
Hope this helps any more ?? fire away
Will play with it again this week.

How was the camera? One reason I am considering waiting on the Iphone to come to Verizon is for the camera. It so for is the fastest I have used. Does the droid camera 1) focus quickly? 2) take good pictures? Also, how responsive was the toucch screen? I have always thought the HTC touch screens were pretty comparable to Apple and found the motorola screens to be slow to respond. Aldo how was the browsing experience? Was the browser fast? I use the web capabilities of my phone a lot so this is another big one for me.🙂
