It is just a different way of doing things. The N8 takes its aim at people who are interested in things that the typical Android user just might not be interested in.

The Nokia can do some things that iPhone and Android cannot do very easily, however. Including those dongles in the retail box is a sign of where Nokia users have gone in relation to iPhone and Android.

I understand what the original poster means about the A8. The A8 is great. But remember that even in the iPhone, the ARM processor is clocked down to preserve battery life. When manipulating menus, I am not sure that someone holding the Nokia would see any reason to prefer the iPhone or the Android.

I am an iPhone user (a heavy user) who still sees quite a bit of use and a sort of kitcschy charm in the Nokias. :-)
