Hello everyone,

I have had me Incredible for just a couple of days now. Im still getting used to it. Went from a Palm Pre to the Incredible. Can any one help me with 2 questions I have?

1) How do you turn down the volume of the keypad when dailing a number to call someone? I tried looking but cant find it. It's so oud almost like if its on Speaker.

2) Does anyone know where I can find the "Droid" ringtone that the original droid has? Like the one where the robotic voice says "Droid" ? I would Love to have this as my SMS/MMS ring tone.

Any and all help would be appriciated!! 🤣

1) The dialing is on speaker. This is directly tied to your "media" volume. So if you turn down media volume, dials get softer.

2) http://gdgt.com/discuss/droid-emailsms-alert- sound-weve-all-566/

Download the sound from there and you can set it.

3) Updates will be a pop up on your phone, telling you to install. It's all automatic, they just require a decent charge on the battery (or plugged in) to start up.

Hello Menno,

Thank you for responding to my questions.

1) I have tried adjusting the media volume to the point where it is all the way down and the dial tone volume does not change. It's still very loud.. any other thoughts?

2) I went to the link that you sent me for the "Droid" SMS tone and it says it's a bad URL. Do you know of any other place I might be able to find it? I REALLY want this ring tone.

any help would be awesome... 😁

1) wierd.. guess sense changes it. You'll have to wait for Dean or someone else to respond. It works that way on my droid (moto).

2) Type "Droid sms tone" into google. Should be the second link (hope that helps)

Did you look under "audible touch tones"under sound and display? That silences the numbers as you dial. I hope that's what you were asking,if not let me know Now i have to watch the US beat Ghana.....

Hello Dean,

I did look under the audiable tones like you suggjested and it gives me the options of " Short, Long, and None" I tried all 3 and none of them effect the loudness of the numerical keypad...Not sure what to try? 😕

Im not sure what you are trying to do then cause when i select "none" there is no sound when i dial a number, just the heptic feedback. Am i misunderstanding what you are asking?
