Must Have Accessories?

Just wondering how sturdy / scratch prone the incredible has been for you guys. I've been looking at cases online, but can't really tell how good quality they are. Do you have any that you prefer? Plastic or Silicone? Looking for something that will hold up, but not -too- overly bulky. Was thinking of picking up some cases (have 2 Incredibles due to arrive Monday) and some Bodyguardz screen protectors, as at least those I've liked in the past.

Any other must haves you guys think for the Incred?

I have the high gloss case from verizon, its a little harder plastic. I dont think the gel ones protect as well. i also have a screen protector too.

If you take care of it and don't have hostile environment issues, the glass won't scratch and needs no screen protector. My phone rides safely in my back handkerchief pocket; my wife tosses her LG Venus in a purse and the plastic screen is badly scratched. I have the VZW stock silicone cover (comes in red or black) and it feels good/works great, except that for stereo you need a neck-down adapter that fits in the case hole; a standard 3.5mm jack won't seat fully because of the case thickness.

Extra charger is strongly suggested. The processor is more powerful than the battery can support. A full charge lasts me a day with moderate usage. Got tired of taking the USB charger to work with me every day so I invested in the car charger for the Droid. VZW has an extended battery coming soon but it will increase the thickness and weight of the D/I, so your choice of case may be affected. If you carry your D/I in your pocket (with car keys, loose change, etc) you should get screen protectors, but not necessarily if you get a belt-clip case. VZW includes the 2GB Micro SD card but you really should invest in a larger one. Remember the old computer-geek saying: "You can never have enough memory."

Grinder is correct,it makes sense to have a car charger. I just ordered the 1750 mah from Seidio and that should help. From what i read its the same or similar to the size and weight of the stock battery.

I needed a mount for my car so I got this Arkon IPM514, description says it fits all HTC non-flip phones:

it fits the phone perfect. It's tight too so it won't fall out, even if you hit a pot hole
