Was wondering if anyone has figured out how to put my ring tones and wallpaper and music on the 16gb phones memory.
I can not send them to my number @vzwpix anymore like other hand sets?
I figured a way to put them on my SD card but what a waste of the internal memory !!

Thanks for any help.

I had downloaded to my PC the VZW online PDF Manual for the Incredible (5.5 Mb). Setting up email on the phone, I mailed it to my phone email account. When I opened it, I got a msg asking if I want to save it to the SD Card or to the phone memory, so saved it to the phone memory. Haven't figured out how to find/read it yet 🙂 other than to attach it to an email and not send it, but still working on that.

The included PDF Reader works fine. I can attach the VZW Manual to an email and read the PDF attachment. I just don't know yet how else to navigate to the document and read it cuz I dunno where it is.

If you mount your SD card when it it connected to your computer, it SHOULD pop up as 2 drives. One for your SD card and the other for internal memory.

I wouldn't be surprised if Astro or some other file manager updated soon(ish) to take advantage of both storage areas

Remember, this is the first android with internal memory. Give the devs a few weeks to play with it and you'll start seeing some amazing things.

I spend a good 5 hours doing all of this and here is how to do it......

plug the phone into computer, now on the phone the SD card will not show up nor will any information for the card WHILE IT IS PLUGGED INTO THE COMPUTER....Find your memory card on the computer by looking for the 14.x drive (Mines was K) and the internal was L....for pictures open the drive and make a "my pictures" folder...drag and drop what ever pictures you want in there....now unplug the phone and goto camera and take 1 picture (this allows the device to show different albums)now goto your albums icon and you should now see camera then on SD card "tab" you will see "my pictures". once you see this then just make some more folders to separate
your other pictures.....

Awesome.........thanks

Just copied over 5gb of my music to the phone. Put it under the MP3 folder. Erased the music that came with the phone. All works fine 🙂
