HTC Droid Incredible
OTA Software Updates?
So will HTC be doing over the air software updates with this phone? I know plenty of people with the Motorola Droid and the HTC Eris and with they upgraded the Droids to the 2.1 software it wasn't bad at all. Since that isn't available for the Eris if they come out with a new update that will be better that the 2.1 will HTC just come out with another new phone or offer the updates? Thanks

HTC will offer the updates.
Remember that both HTC and Verizon are kinda... well, anal when it comes to making sure stuff works, which is why updates are delayed. When you get a phone with this custom overlay, you have to understand that updates WILL take longer to get out. This is because the overlays take a lot of work, and with how fast android currently updates, it doesn't make sense to update every time, especially when 2.0/2.1 is the FIRSt update to come out since 1.5 that really adds something new that HTC didn't write into their old version of sense
