4 out of 5 stars

The good: The Samsung Captivate features a gorgeous Super AMOLED screen, a 1GHz processor, and 16GB of onboard memory plus an expansion slot. The Android 2.1 device also offers great call quality, full wireless options, and a HD video capture.

The bad: AT&T won't let you sideload apps. Camera lacks flash.

The bottom line: The Samsung Captivate is easily AT&T's best Android offering to date, delivering great performance, tons of features, and an easy-to-use interface.

Yet again, another review where

The good: The Samsung Captivate features a gorgeous Super AMOLED screen, a 1GHz processor, and 16GB of onboard memory plus an expansion slot. The Android 2.1 device also offers great call quality, full wireless options, and a HD video capture.

The bad: it wasn't made by Apple.

Well at least they were decent enough to give it the same score as the iPhone 4 I suppose.

Apple has been making phones for 4 years and due to recent flops, they're not very good at it.
So the GOOD: it wasn't made by apple.
Just another apple sheep headed to the butcher block.
Credibility: I was a big fan of the iPhone until the 3GS. I didn't see the value of the 3GS over the 3G. Once the iPhone 4 was announced i switched back to blackberry while i wait for a good android device. The captivate looks promising but i never buy a phone in the first 2 months(i.e. iPhone issues).

I still never understand why companies want to give good camera's but no flash.

Also AT&T's draconian need to block 3rd party apps is getting old. You can't add 3rd party apps on the Aria, Backflip, and now this one. *sigh*

Actually killer diff's between 3G & 3GS. 3GS has 600mhz processor versus 400mhz on 3G. 3GS has 256K ram versus 128k on 3G. 3GS does video recording, 3G DOES NOT. Those are the 3 biggest I can think of !?! 😉
