Motorola T325 and the Evo
I have a Motorola T325 Bluetooth speakerphone that I'd like to use with my new Evo. I've seen a few other threads on speakerphones and the Evo, and it's not entirely clear what will/won't work with this particular unit. So far all I have been able to get working is the most basic functionality. The Bluetooth connectivity seems fine, and I can take calls through the speakerphone, but that's it.
I can't get the T325 to upload my address book from the phone for voice dialing (apparently this may be an issue with the firmware on the phone, according to some of the other threads I've read on here?). It seems to start the upload process, but never completes, and the phone never prompts me to allow the upload or access to the phone book, e...

I cannot speak for the T325, but I was able to get the phonebook to transfer to my BlueAnt....It kept saying "transfering phonebook" and about 30 seconds later I saw something up at the top of my screen and when I dragged it down, that is where it was asking permission, I would have never thought to look there....thought something would have popd up or beepd to let me know it needed permission. Google Maps and Sprint Nav go through my BlueAnt as well....Voice Dial will work with Froyo 2.2 which looks to be coming out on the 3rd!

Thanks Jbaer. Sounds like you're having better luck with the BlueAnt. Every time my phone connects to the T325, it says it's downloading my address book, but it never seems to work. There's no permission thing coming up on the phone, either. (I checked at the top.) I can't get the audio for the navigation apps to work through the T325 either.
Looks like I might have to return it and try the BlueAnt. How is the sound quality on that?

Installed Froyo, still no luck getting the phone to sync contacts with the T325 or getting Nav audio through the speakerphone. Guess I'll be returning this thing and getting a BlueAnt, unless anyone else has any ideas.
