"Nearly EVERYTHING" plan.~ Forget the HTC EVO 10 buck more plan.

I am a Sprint Premiere Customer, and I have the top of the top plan, and it's clearly stated as "EVERYTHING"... that I would never need to pay for anything extra.

I currently am paying over $129 for a "Everything Data" plan that includes unlimited data

You state that the $10.00 Premium Data add-on is for the HTC EVO only.. but isn't the name of my plan the "Everything Data"? Everything implies "ALL INCLUDED", thus any additional add-on should be on Sprint.

That is a good point/question!

I plan to head out to see this phone in action and possibly make a switch from ATT's iPhone to this. Thx!

Keep us posted Amigo!

im right their with ya. $120.00 per year extra just for the right to use a phone that likely will only have 3g service for most owners is crazy.

You could always switch to Verizon or AT&T and pay more per month for their phones that aren't as nice as the Evo.

Ehhh its $10, I don't like it especially when I am not in a WiMax 4G market. But what can I do? I knew about the charge and 4G coverage or lack of coverage in my case before I left a perfectly good Touch Pro 2 behind to get the EVO. I just wish that "surcharge" would of included the tethering ... then THAT would of been the deal of the century.

Sometimes titles and loyalty mean nothing and that goes for any business. Look at the airlines... they do whatever they want too.

I have been buying Levi's pants since I have been on my own because of no Union even though there prices have gone up. But instead of being a liberal & asking for handouts, I will continue to buy Levi's.

It seems my friend that you didn't read your contract and your plan well. When you sing up for the everything data plan there was only 3g at the time and you got everything unlimited that the company had at the time, now there is 4g which is different than just 3g (faster speeds and being able to be on a call and being on the web) this is why you are paying 10$ extra so this is unlimited. Now you don't have to get the Evo if you don't want to pay the extra 10$. Just remember something, in this country nothing is free...or just like my co-worker says you gotta pay to play.. and if you don't want to pay is fine you just don't play...you are free to do what you feel is best for you buddy. 😉

My 1 year old nephew could prolly be a premiere customer... Just like some of the other people have said, if you want the top of the line toys you have to pay the top of the line price!! If you disagree with it that much spend the extra hundreds of dollars to cancel your line(s) and spend even more money every month/year with Verizon or AT&T. You can whine and piss and moan and groan all you want but the $10 up charge for the 4G is not going anywhere. So stop bitching and spend the money or cancel... simple as that!! 😳

As far as I understand it, if you are currently using a boysen berry, there would be no additional charges. When I switched to my BB from my V9m, I paid the additional $10 and I was told it was for the use of the BB server. BUT, I was told today that there was no HTC server that would send e mail alerts like the BB does .. Not really sure but I'm gonna stop @ the sprint store on the way home tonight and find out as much as I can before I fork out the $$$$ they're asking for this new toy.

I have the Simply Everything Plan. When I got the EVO 3 weeks ago, the contract they had me sign showed my plan at $89.99, not the usual $99.99, plus the $10.00 for the EVO. I didnt ask for anything it just happened, so my cost stays the same as it has for the last few years.
