So I was wondering since I'm going to buy the phone full price I had a couple questions that somebody can hopefully. One thing I'm wondering is can i pay 450 without a contract or do i have to get the contract. I may have to at best buy but do I have to at sprint. Another thing I wondering is there a way I can find out which stores are opening early

Before you buy the phone at regular price at Best Buy you should look to see what the regular prices are on their phones compared to Sprint's regular prices on phones. I do know you can purchase the Evo at the outright price but it does have to be active before you leave from a corporate store.

I called Best Buy last week about this. If you pay retail for it, there is NO contract extension or renewal. Each Best Buy I'm sure is different on the price you pay. I told them that Sprint and Radio Shack are both selling for $449 and they said they would price match it. But you won't get the $100 rebate unless you are eligible for and upgrade

Not sure if you are talking about me giving inaccurate info, and if u are, I'm not sure what that is. Best Buy price matched me today. Have the receipt to prove it! They were gonna charge me $599. The store manager came over to approve it and said, "damn, we are really screwing people over." Thanks Best Buy for the $150 price drop! I love my EVO!!!

The carrier determines the price of their mobile devices. The bricks and mortar stores are simply an avenue to sell them. I am glad that you received the price you anticipated.

I love it. I had the HERO so I am familiar with the Android software... LOVE the huge screen. The phone it's self is a little bigger than any phone I've ever had but I'm already use to that. So far, best phone I've ever had!
