I want an EVO but I don't live in a 4G area. Why do I have to pay the $10?

* The $10 Premium Data Fee is not a charge for 4G service.

* It is for a data rich experience with uncapped data usage.

I think I might end up paying too much.

* We're talking savings here.

* Sprint's Everything Data plan with Any Mobile Anytime for $69.99
plus $10 Premium Data fee still beats Verizon's and ATT's unlimited talk,
text and data plans by $40!

* And they don't have a 4G network! 🤣

It looks like a typical Android. Why pay $10 bucks more a month?

* 👿 Think Killer Multimedia! 😈

* EVO's 1GHz Snapdragon processor improves device speed and
performance making applications launch faster.

* The user experience is unlike any other phone available. Hear that
iPhone?

Do you suppose people would still be complaining if Sprint made the price of the phone $440, instead of $200 + $10/month?

That brings up an interesting idea. Would they let me have the phone for free and charge me $20/month instead of $10/month? This might be a way for cell companies to avoid these situations. Give every phone away for free, but charge a premium add-on depending on what phone you have. That would really hurt 3rd party sellers (Best Buy, Radioshack, etc.) that sell below the corp stores, though.

Why does no one mention T mobile they have unlimited everything for 89.99 and their HD2 Evo competitor was released at 200 and they offered buy 1 get one free.

This compared to sprints 99.99 plan. I mean 109.99 now.

not to mention Metro PCS at 40
and Walmart pre pay at 45
both unlimited Talk text and web. (yeah I know **** for phones)

The part where only 10% of American can use it? No I got it, which makes it a legitimate comparison.

maybe I made a mistake but 30 people have access currently to the 4G network. About 310 million Americans. Does that check out?

Yeah.... Uhh... I already acknowledged their lack of quality phones. So... yeah... good point. I can't attest to their coverage as I have never been a customer but I will believe you since you obviously speak from experience. As for service I'm not sure what you mean, Talk text and web seem pretty comparable to what sprint offers because if you have web you have access to pretty much every other service (GPS, TV, Internet radio) unless you were again speaking of coverage which that would be redundant so I'm sure that's not what you meant. All that aside I was just comparing pricing of their comparable services.

3RD PARTY VENDORS SUCH AS BEST BUY AND RADIOSHACK DO NOT SELL BELOW THE CORP STORES. THEY EITHER OFFER INSTANT REBATES INSTEAD OF MAIL INS, OR THEY JACK UP THE RETAIL PRICE OF THE PHONE (AS BEST BUY DIOES QUITE OFTEN), AND THEN SELL IT AT A "SELL" OR "DISCOUNTED" PRICE.

Sorry to break this to you, but 3rd party vendors almost always sell below the corp. stores, even after mail-in rebates. compare best buys website to ATT, or sprint or Verizon. Radioshack does not put prices on their website, but they are the same as Best Buy. Almost always lower than Corp. stores.
