Does $29.99 tethering add-on have a 5GB ceiling for 3G, or is it unlimited regardless of 3G or 4G?

I'm inclined to switch from my iPhone and at&t, but I'd only do so if I could tether the phone and have unlimited data regardless of whether I were using the 3G EVDO Rev. A Network or the 4G WIMAX network, especially given the fact that the 4G network is not yet available in New York. Does anyone know whether the $29.99 tethering add-on will have a data download/upload ceiling before they charge you extra or whether the plan will offer unlimited data regardless of the network technology used (or in my case, available)?

the $10 data charge is not for the tethering part. that is for the data rich features of the 4g capabilites on the phone. kinda like the hd receiver upgrades through your cable/satellite companies. has nothing to do with the tethering part.

plus by it having to be on the everything data plan or simply everything plan it already has the unlimited usage no matter what so that was never an issue really.

unbelievable! $29.99 additional just to use tethering! ugh!!! when will all this BS end! the $10 extra should be covering that! I don't think I'm going to go w/Sprint after all! Freak'n phone seems pretty cool too but come on! that much more $$ for tethering is BS, we're in a F'N recession for crying out loud!

it will have unlimited data. thats the great thing about 4g. if it is accessing 3g it will still be unlimited due to the fact that it is from the cell phone and not a broadband card.
