Bottom line, will this phone tether without getting the 29.95 upgrade
Right now I have a palm pre that i use for work purposes to get on the internet. Is there a feeling that this phone will be capable of doing that without getting the 29.95 upgrade program? I know the phone isn't out yet, but this phone seems like one worthy upgrade... WIll it tether with a cord or without one. Otherwise, I have to stick with my palm pre. 😲

unfortunatly this phone will not do the tethering w/out having the $29.99 data package add on. the phone puts out a wifi signal for the other devices to catch. and no there is no cord needed.

But well be able to use PDAnet to tether for a one time fee, unless anybody sees a reason why PDAnet wouldnt work on this device. ???

if its an app on the droid network then yes you can use it however its not guaranteed through sprint to be fully compatable with the 4G part. it may only do the 3G
