$140/month Unlimited Everything

Sprint now offers the most expensive unlimited plan in the industry. Here is how it breaks down:

Simply Everything: $99
Wifi Hotspot Feature: $29
Premium Data Charge: $10
Total: ~$140

Expensive for one phone. Granted, $140 buys you unlimited talk, text, internet, e-mail, 3G/4G access, GPS, mobile TV service, Android 2.1 and it's market (which as of April had over 34,000 apps) wifi hotspot for up to 8 devices and literally the best phone that has ever been manufactured.
Go Sprint! I want to watch the iPhone die, and while I am not going to credit one phone to the death of Steve Jobs' brainchild, phones like this will do the trick.

You can actually have this phone on any Everything Data plan, those start at 69.99, the premium charge is correct, i'm assuming its for the wimax, but you don't have to pay the 29.99 for the hotspot feature to activate the phone...thats just if you want to share your connection with others...and how often are you going to use that??? I do agree that it will rival the iphone, but people are used to that 32GB of space on their phone without memory cards...it'll take some time but it might do the trick...

If you want truly unlimited service, including all available features, the cost is $140. However, since Sprint's Everything Data plans include unlimited calling to every cell phone in America, very few people fit the niche of the Simply Everything plan.
As far as onboard memory goes, why do people prefer non-transportable memory over microSD cards? By using an iPhone (or any phone that uses onboard memory), you are limiting yourself on transfering your media. Memory cards are by far the most efficient method of handset media storage.

I'm bummed I used my upgrade for the Hero...

If they are going to charge anything additional to the unlimited plan for this phone, they might as well be the "New AT$T" The mobile hot spot should be an option not a must! 😡

The "Hot Spot" feature is Optional. Nothing to worry about there. IF you want it, THEN you will be paying $29.99 a month. It is a required $10 for the "4g" ability even if you don't live in a 4g area. That is what is pretty lame.

Yeah think they should change that. There is no reason why I should pay 10 dollers more on top of my already unlimiyed plan. It's not right. I'll just stick to my Palm Pre. Because tlike it or not, that's shady.

"The $10 add-on WiMax plan for the EVO 4G, for example, provides unlimited access to both Sprint's 4G and 3G networks. "

If they are going to charge anything additional to the unlimited plan for this phone, they might as well be the "New AT$T" The mobile hot spot should be an option not a must! This was the phone that would keep me as an existing customer but seing that they will be charging on top of my unlimited plan, why would anyone want to go to sprint, or stay just because of that phone. I mean the phone is great, but they can make all their profit on just that one phone.

The hot spot is an add-on, not a must. I think $30 for a mobile hot spot is very good, but thats because I am stuck in a $60/month for 5 GB mi-fi plan. Personally, I'm debating whether to pay the ETF (but it's Verizon, so its still over $200) and go to this tethering plan. It's cheaper in the long run, but expensive all at once.

for $120, which att recently lowered, you dont get tethering.

for $110 you get all the same. still a ebtter rate plan. and the $29 for tethering 8!!!!!!! devices is much cheaper than having the $60 monthly plan for a 3g/4g data card for you laptop.

jesus people. the whining about costs is ridiculous. they are offering awesome service for LOW prices. and ill gladly ditch the 3g/4g laptop card in favor of $29 to tether my laptop (and my work iphone, and 6 other devices while in on the road, the train, whatever). its such a great deal. if you actually used the services and paid for them, youd realize what a deal this phone is compared to the old way of things.
