Is the HTC Evo the same as the HTC Incredible?

Darn! was hoping it was. Is the HTC Incredible less glorious than the EVO?

I'm on verizon and half my family and friends are on verizon. I'd hate to jump ship and pay for minutes with Sprint.

verbatim from sprint's website. hmm..i should jump ship to sprint. my vzw bill is huge. But, I still love my storm2...I'll wait til the EVO comes out.

is there going to be tethering with the evo? does sprint offer tethering? free?

I checked yesterday and Sprint does not offer Tethering anymore but if you have WIFI on your computer the Evo acts as a hotspot for up to 8 devices.

And by the way do you know of any company offering tethering for Free?
Or is free just your was of finally switching?

I want alot of stuff for free but it just won't happen...
