Really Samsung? Putting the charging port on TOP of the phone. Wow. Just, wow. Do they even think when they're putting these together? I was semi-interested until I saw that, but no thanks Samsung.

Either way the phone is a flimsy pojunk. The charge port on top shouldnt make a difference either way, unless you have ocd or something. haha..Pretty stupid

Granted, I am somewhat OC, but it's just common sense to put the charger on the bottom (even the side, as annoying as it is, is much better than the top) so you can talk on the phone with it plugged in, without having a cord sticking up then bending down. Oh well, guess the wait for a replacement to my Hero continues.

Well atleast the EVO got it right with putting the port on the bottom of the phone. I think its the easiest to talk on the phone while charging when the port is located on the bottom of the phone. way to be htc =p

One thing I do love about the HTCs. If only they could get their screens and customer service right...

Actually putting the charging port on top of the phone isn't too bad of an idea. I have an Evo and when I'm driving I set my phone in my cup holder and plug it into my car charger...because the charging port is on the bottom of my phone I have to stick it in upside down...so when you think of it like that, it is actually rather convienent.

It's actually to get people AWAY from talking on the phone as it charges because that's the number one way charger ports get damaged. If you have the phone plugged in and are using the phone for messaging or browsing, it's in the right position... but moving it to the top, like they did with the restore, makes sense.

you just gotta be smart about it, i can be rest assured that people will be calling in or going to the store cause there dumb enough to damage it that way.
