Uploading ringers

wonder

Sep 9, 2004, 6:48 PM
I am trying to upload ringers into my LG 6000 phone. I'm trying to upload using BitPim and tryin to upload an mp3. Is it possible to upload mp3 as ring tones?
I see that the phone received the mp3, but when i go to play it back, i hear no sound.

Anyone else have this issue?

thanks for answers in advance

2. when you send a ringtones to replace existing ringtones (usually the default 5 that will never be removed no matter how many times you delete them) with bitpim. if you delete any of the ringtones through the phone, without using bitpim, this will happen when you restart the phone. you will see the ringer name and no audio will play.

one way to correct it is by connecting your phone, open bitpim, and remove all of the ringtones in the ringers section. then, send that data (with no ringers in the ringers folder) to the phone and click replace and ok. all of your existing ringers will be removed and replaced with nothing when you go to the my me...

This is probably too late but I used MP3 Sound Cutter (from download.com) to cut out chorus sections of songs then used BitPim to upload.
