Anyone care to answer? The droid is buy one get one right now so if it is a better choice, I'd rather do that. HOWEVER, I like the keyboard on this ALLY better than on the droid.

Personally, I am not a Motorola fan, but a huge LG fan and I have already pre-ordered the Ally. I feel like it was worth the wait, and I have been waiting a long time! You only have to wait for the Ally until Thursday, or pre-order now.

THE VERDICT!? Ally or DROID!? I see alot of glowing reviews for the ALLY and some people are comparing it to the droid saying it's better...for those of you who do have it here on phonescoop...what are your thoughts? For those of you who might have owned a droid and gone to the ALLY , I'd LOVE to hear your feedback. THANKS!

If you're a basic user, the ally is a great choice.

If you plan on actually using your smartphone's more advanced features (or if you have ANY interest in modding your device at all) get the droid.

It all comes back down to personal preference. the physical keyboard on the ally is better, but the virtual keyboard on android is so good that it doesn't matter as much as you think it might.
