Are they considering this a 3G Smartphone or a 3G Multimedia phone?
My sister wants this, and if it's considered a 3G smartphone she can forget it. I'm not paying the $29.99 plan lol. The $9.99 plan I don't mind.

You get SO much more for your $30 though on a real smartphone. It's really not the deal-killer everyone makes it out to be. And Android is a really nice platform.

My sister is 14 lol going on 15. I have the Motorola Droid but I am 25 so I am cool with paying the $29.99 plan.
I look at the Devour and I didn't think it would be a smartphone cause it's like half the phone of my Motorola Droid. I think I am going to get her the Samsung Rogue now. I just can't justify paying $29.99 for a kid, cause this strikes me as a kids phone, even though it has Android on it.
