why would they call in the Droid 2 when it's not an update?
It's clearly a lesser model.
Doesn't make sense.
As a VZW sales consultant, these phones need to have different names.
Everyone doesn't live & breathe phones like the ppl on this forum and it's annoying when you ask a customer what phone they have and they say "Motorola" "LG" or more recently "droid?" When manufacturers started giving models interesting names helped ppl identify their phones.
