Wifi is just means using the internet wirelessly or for phones using it without using the company's internet browser which is retarded to have on smartphones anyway because you are required to have a data plan so you will be using the internet either way. Also, the wifi on smartphones is faster than the mobile company's internet. My bf has sprint and his phone has wifi he uses that more than sprint's internet service. I have the samsung gravity t669 and you should test it out first like use it within the 14 days and return it for a better one.
