I am considering this phone but am wondering why they would offer a phone in this market with a reduced ($10) internet connect. They certainly don't advertise it and I have been w/ T-mobile for many years.

I have been looking at one of the HTC 2 phones (love the screen) but am wary of adding yet another 30+ monthly internet charge.

I also am conused about what "no wi-fi" means. (obviously i don't know my way around all this new technology) If you are paying for internet on your phone why would you then need wi-fi.

Thanks in advance for any info and advice.

Wifi is just means using the internet wirelessly or for phones using it without using the company's internet browser which is retarded to have on smartphones anyway because you are required to have a data plan so you will be using the internet either way. Also, the wifi on smartphones is faster than the mobile company's internet. My bf has sprint and his phone has wifi he uses that more than sprint's internet service. I have the samsung gravity t669 and you should test it out first like use it within the 14 days and return it for a better one.
