Samsung SCH-A610

I work for the shack, my Verizon rep told me last week we would get it, but didn't tell me when. We get shipments every friday, so I'll post friday night if we got it in or not. If I have it friday, the top 2000 shack stores across the country should too. I played with the phone as the verizon wireless store in my town tonight, have to say i'm impressed. the swivel is pretty sturdy, but I realized that if you flip the screen out for caller id, not only do you have to flip it open to answer it like any flip phone, you also have to pivot the screen around so that the earpiece is toward your face then hit the answer button, so you can't have call answer on flip open, the most convenient feature of any flip phone. The camera was cool though, and the screen was large and clear. The front is silver, not blue like the pic. Also, the pic makes the "football player" shoulders look really ugly. While it is a little different than what you are used to, it wouldn't take long to come to like the look and feel of it. It is also nice and light, and fit well in my hands. I was a skeptic at first; after having played with it, while I won't buy it cus I'm waiting for the camcorder phones to come out, I can't wait for the shack to carry it cus I would definitely be confident selling it.
