I see on Froogle that there's custom faceplates for the A610. Mine looks like the orginal Verizon faceplate is on tight...anyone tried changing faceplates? Does it void the warranty? Thanks

Yes, from a Verizon Wirelesscustomer service point of view, it will void the warranty because the a610 is not designed to change the faceplate or any aftermarket antenna. I own one myself. I hope this helps in your decision.
