Maybe it's because I've given up on a device being totally perfect, because the Backflip does have it's flaws (occasional crashes, some apps only work in one screen orientation) but in my opinion, this is the best phone I've ever had.
I have four e-mail accounts from over the years -- Yahoo, GMail, and two work accounts -- one Exchange, one SMTP. The Backflip handles them FLAWLESSLY. It was too damn easy to set up.
The web browser is the best mobile browser I have ever seen. The worst it's done is be too far zoomed out.
WIFI isn't perfect, but it's very good -- It doesn't like RADIUS authentication, but not much outside of PC's does, and I haven't put any time into fixing it.
Oh -- and it makes calls, left or right handed.....
