I had AT&T for my first cell phone and the service was horrible. How is the service now because i really like this phone and i want it but i am scared to go back to At&t

Be afraid,....be very afraid....the GSM service sucks....you get dropped calls....you can't get service on one block, then you get it, then it cuts off....it was suppose to get better by the end of August 2003.....it's October 2003 and it still sucks.

you are sooooooo wrong my friend, the GSM is the best cellular service around the world and it is growing soooo fast in the United States that by the begining of next year GSM & ATT will be the leader cellular provider in the USA so happy with my GSM phone and being an ATT customer... regards ! 😛

what area are you in where the service is so great? I have had it since 10/15/02 and it has gotton worse. I am looking at my phone now. my att gsm says no service.

In fact I have 4 co-workers phones in front of me

3 co workers att gsm no service
att digital full service
t-mobile full service
verizon full service

I've had ATT for about a year and a half now. Originally I was under digital/TDMA network and switched over to GSM network about 4 months ago. What I've realized in this change that the phone may have something to do with reception. I purchased the T721 when I switched to GSM and I hated it. Recently I purchased the Samsung V600 and I appear to have better reception, even less drop calls. If you ask me all provders have issues, ATT, Verizon, Cingular, etc....
