I say go ahead and switch to cingular and thats the service I have. I hear that there are problems with the moto V3 silver edition. I know there is an upgrade that is black. I own the motorola v620 and the service is great! I feel that your problem would be finding a phone. I ordered my V620 from www.exoticphone.com and they have a whole list of great phones. Some phones that aren't available in America yet but are still compatible with our networks as long as you have a cingular or t-mobile sim card. I say don't go with the RAZR V3 Silver Edition that has problems just like the V600. There is an upgrade that is all black, it looks better and has more features than the original. It's on the exoticphone.com website. It seems that when motorola's flagship silver colored phones have problems but when they come with a black upgrade they work just fine. I hope I was able to help.
Can you tell me what the problems are with the V3 and V600? And how do you get a Cingular SIM card? Do you have to go to Cingular and buy one? I'm in the SF Bay area and have to switch to Cingular for biz reasons. Thanks!
