Motorola V600
Is T-Mobile's version of this tri- or quad band?
I realize that the T-Mobile version of this phone doesn't support the 850 band, but is this because it lacks the hardware to do so, or only because it has a software lock on that band put in place by either T-Mobile or Motorola? Also, if it is a software lock, does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks.

So . . . that brings me back to my original question is it tri-band because it lacks the hardware to transmit on the 800 band, or is it tri-band because there is a software lock in place stopping it from using that particular band. As bizarre as that may sound, I have actually dealt with that with certain Nokia phones, and was able to get a software update that allowed them to use the additional band. Thanks again.
