Employees? help!? switching phone to cingular?
Hey all,
my friend has this phone and wants to use it through cingular. It's a Motorola v600 from ATT. I just need to find the subsidy code to make it work with my Cingular sim.
anyone have any idea? or can they point me in the right direction

The way it's supposed to work is that you get Cingular to request that AT&t send the specific subsidy unlock code to them and they contact you with it. I've never actually heard of this working though...either because the CSRs don't know how to work it, don't know who to contact, or the former provider, in this case AT&t, refuses to release the code. Hope this helps.
