weird caller id issue
hey I have a refurbished v600 when I make a call it will say private call I checked with att its not set up on their side when I use the next call menu option it works for maybe 3 or 4 calls but then it goes back to private call anyone know of a way to fix this

Hmmm... make sure you call into GSM customer care making sure that they did not provision Line Number Blocking on your account.
Sometimes it has to do with the routing of the call via the HLR... I know that calls from my V600 shows up on my fiance's landline caller ID as private call even though other people can see my number. Caller ID is not always perfect... or maybe that's just Rogers.

Try this first:
Press Menu.
Select Settings.
Select In-Call Setup.
Select My Caller ID.
Select Next Call Only.
Select Hide ID or Show ID.
If only successful for a few calls, turn phone off, remove batery and sim card and leave out for 10 minutes, then turn phone back on and do a master reset, this will not lose your phonebook, if you have any wallpaper or ringtones set up, it will remove them form active status, but will not erase them , you will have to put them back on as active status. If that is still not successful, i would recommend a warrenty exchange option, or trying calling the manufactuer at (800) 331-6456, they may have additional solutions.
