I think you may be right. I just bought the v600 from ebay and I love it. I have attws. I hope I dont have to switch phones. But since this network issue who knows. I have a year to go till my contract ends. I hope I can hold this phone until then. Any advice let me know?? Maybe they r bringing other phones in like the v620 or something? I see they added the video on that.

At&T ahs launched the V505. It looks just like the V551 that Cingular will carry very soon. It too has bluetooth and EDGE. It is a very sharp phone. One of my customer brought it in for me too look at. It does not come unlocked, as I tried to put my SIM card in it.

Well, so far no problems with it. I love the flip phones. I had a nokia 5100 it was good at the time. All my phones have been pretty good. I had the motorola mpx200 and that gave me some trouble. The plastic holders for the sim card kept breaking off easily and it wouldnt reconize the sim card. They should of had metal on there instead. And sometimes the phone would freeze and do weird reboots and such. I loved the mp3 player on it and the msn messenger. But now I have this v600 and so far it does what I want it to do. I love the camera its my first camera phone. Yes, it may not be perfect but it gets what I want done. I love the outer style of it too and the mirror for taking self pics. Is there any good free game, ringtone sites that are...

With a program like MusicMatch(to convert files to & fro, mp3 and wav) and your Windows recorder(to edit, shorten .wav files), you can make your own mp3 ringtones.

It involves a few steps on your computer. Email me directly at "LMB522@Comcast.net" and I'll send you the detailed steps. My 17 year old daughter hasn't had to pay for a ringtone all year and she has more than 50. I don't want to put the instructions in general circulation because if everyone starts doing the companies may figure out a way to stop it.

I've had 6 or 7 with ATT. The one I have now is going back. You end call it takes you to icon screen. 2. Call keeps dialing you click the red phone icon to end call it does not. You have to power phone off to disconnect. Next phone V505 or E316. Unless P710 Samsung is out by Oct 20. 😎

The v600 had some isues with the 850 band to my understanding(TMO uses only 1900). I just received my replacement v600 yesterday. Seems ok so far.

Also, I just purchased the 6230 also and it does out-perform my v600.

Still can't wait for my RAZR though.

AT&T discontinued this phone because the phone didn't work well with the 850 network. Apparently the problem is a firmware issue. The discontinuation had nothing to do with the merger with Cingular.

Anyway, I really hope the problem is fixed with the 620.
