Pricing on v600?

Does anyone know what the target retail price for the v600? I saw some places on the internet selling it for clost to $1000. Not sure if those prices are realistic when I compare the functions and features of the v600 to SonyEricsson p800 or p900. The p800 is selling for $500. The new p900 is not released yet but it is at around $850 (again on the internet). The SonyEricsson models have comparable features... camera and support Bluetooth. They also have "PDA" built-in. Not sure why v600 is selling for more on the internet right now. 😕

When comparing all AT&T Wireless phones and pricing, my guess is that the phone will retail for $400. A large number of phones that have some, but not all of the features of the v600 are around $300. I could be off a little, but I would bet it would not be more than $500 when officially released to retail outlets.

I'm glad I get 50% off all equipment through ATTWS! 😛

i would guess around 500 given all the buzz surrounding this phone.....expect it to drop dramatically by march.
luckily, ive been with at&t for over 5 years now and i get super discounts on all their phones (loyalty has some priveledges)....if youre already an at&t customer call them up after the phone comes out and talk to a manager and tell them u want this phone for a discount.....theyll give it to you.

Me, too...let's see if we can even get a group rate going here. Perhaps we can send a little kick back for Bricher.

I can't see the V600 that expensive unless there is some kind of rebate. With some many people wanting this phone, there will be some stiff competition. I predict around $300-$400 with mail in rebate.
