Help which should i get?

Guys which do you thjink is a better phone for me to get the motorola v600 or the Samsung e316?

I think you should get the v600. Compare them on this site and you'll see the difference. V600 has bluetooth, speakerphone and more. It is a clearly better phone and it has no problem with at&t or T-Mobile so go for it and good luck on your decision. hope I helped in your decision.

I'd vote for the V600.

If you use the added features like Bluetooth, MP3 ringers, speaker phone, and the lighting effects (distinctive colors), then the V600 is a better fit. Using a Bluetooth headset is getting much more common among people with GSM handsets.

The V600 has a bigger inside screen (pixel dimensions) and the outer display is better on V600 because it's almost black and white while in "sleep" mode with no backlighting and that makes it super eady to read in daylight/sunlight.

I like Samsung phones but I have some issues with their buttons being too flat or small and with very limited travel.

The aluminum skin on the V600 is much nicer to hold and replacable at a reasonable cost if damaged. And lastly, if you learn th...

I agree with you, that is why I always use Motorola phones... I've had plenty of others, but keep coming back to Motorola.

Can you elaborate on how one can enter multiple entries per name and have them consolidated under 1 name when looking for a name? I can always enter more than 1 per name, but when I go to the phonebook and actually look for the name, I see multiple entries intead.

Sure- here's how it works:

When the phonebook list is displayed, hit the [menu] button (middle under screen).

Scroll almost all the way to the bottom of the list and select [Setup]

Set up the 3 options to be:
Viewby: List
Sort by: Name

I just want to add... this only works when #'s are stored on the phone, not the SIM.

Good point--thanks.

I'll also add that when using Mobile Phone Tools or Macintosh iSync, the grouping is preserved making entry and back-up easy.

I use the SIM for handset back-up (i.e. taking the basic phonebook to another device in a pinch)
