Another V600 alternative
The Sony Ericsson Z600.
Not quad band, but does have changeable covers like the V600 and unlike the X70. It also has an IR. It seems its biggest downside is its size. 5mm thicker than the V600. Reviews are saying this is the best Sony Ericsson yet. I don’t know which provider will carry this phone. It is on eBay going for about $400 and the international sites for getting sim-free phones. What does everyone else think? A good alternative?

The SE z600 doesn't have a VGA (640x480) quality camera either. But it syncs with iSync on a Mac, which the Motorola v600 can't (yet?!)
