Motorola V600
V600 Alternative
I am just as frustrated as every else here with the constant delays. I have been holding out switching to GMS until this phone comes out, but if it doesn't come soon I have looked at this phone as well.
Panasonic x70
It has all of the functionality of the v600, including a camera light and IR, which the v600 does not have. The only shortfall I can see is the polyphonic ring tones are only 16 versus the 32 the v600 will have. This phone is slated for AT&T Wireless as well and it has the FCC License approval already.
I still like the look of the Motorola a little better, but we can't wait forever.

I wonder how many millions motorola has lost by screwing up and not having the V600 out for the holiday season ?

The only problem is that the X70 is only a TRI band GSM instead of a Quad band GSM like the Motorola. I believe that the phone already has it's FCC approval.
