Price with new plan

Since this phone is brand new(or going to be soon) I was wondering if you guys think they will offer this phone with a rebate of some sort if you sign up with a wireless provider. My plan is running out very soon and I was wondering if I should just let it run out then sign up again and get the phone cheaper than normal. I'm just not sure how it all works.

cingular will offer the unit for around $250.00 after rebate .

My mole tells me that Cingular may not even offer the V600 this year - since the V500 is type accepted by the FCC (and the V600 is not) there is a chance that the V500 will be first quad band Motorola they offer...
