V600 with Cingular

So...if the V600 is with Cingular would we be able to use the phone with At&t?

Cingular actually has a really cool policy about world (quad-band) phones - they all get sold unlocked! The V400, also quad-band, is sold unlocked, and you can get them at Best Buy without service contract for $300. I'd imagine the V600 will be quite a bit more expensive, but just pop in your AT&T SIM, and you're good to go.

If they sell it locked, then you can get it unlocked remotely online. Services that do that used to do it really cheap ($15 or so..) but lately have gotten more expensive ($40+) due to idiots that abused Motorola's subsidy code database.

So.. the answer is Yes. 🙂
