I got a guy who can get me a v600, should I be scared?
I got a guy who can get me a v600 next week in Long Island for $250 and a put it on the Attws network. Does anyone know why I should be skeptical of this? It seem like a dream come true.

Yeah.. There are a lot of fakes out there. Be careful. If you're ordering this online, tell him that you'll pay half before and the other half when you recieve the phone. If it's legit; let me know, cause I want one A.S.A.P.

I don't have his card on me. It's a wireless retailer in Rockville Centre on Sunrise Hw. I assume anyone can get one.
I walked in and wanted to get an unlocked v400 and put it on Attws but he said he could get me a v600 so I said 'sure', when? He said 'by Tues. next week'. I said 'get me two'. He said 'OK'. He didn't want any money up front. He just told me to call him Tues. to see if they came in. He said Fri. at the latest.

I have no problems posting all the info if this works out. But how 'bout a little help keeping me from getting screwed. How can he get these phones ahead of everyone else? Are they european phones unlocked and resold here? How can I tell? Are they pre-release phones which are bug ridden and not supported by Moto or ATT? How can I protect against this?
Any other ideas of what could go wrong?

I really don't think it's that serious.. If he get's the phone and it's unlocked; GREAT!.. If the phone ends up having bugs or whatever, just contact Motorola.. You should be covered for 1 year.. Don't sweat it, I thought you were ordering online.. But, if you can.. Get me his Name, #, business, etc.. I'm at iceberg010@yahoo.com
