Yes. This is the last hurrah for us Windows Mobile users. There may no longer be WM 6.5 after this. With the performance specs the Fathom has, it should be a serious rocket, a parting gift from LG to remind us what Windows Mobile could really do, before the new (and incompatible) platform takes over. Back in the day, Windows Mobile and PalmOS were the top PDA Operating Systems. PalmOS is long gone, and Windows Mobile CE is dying.

WinMo 7 is stated by Microsoft to be completely incompatible with older CE apps, therefore the CE is in name only, as it really is a whole new OS. Kind of like PalmOS and webOS.

It is also not a multitasker OS, and it requires apps to be approved through the Windows Marketplace, not allowing installations any other way. Sound famiiiar?
