Does the battery life suffer when connected to WiFi. I know when I use my G1 with WiFi the battery life goes down with in hrs. And if I have no cell signal it is even worse since the phone is constantly looking for a connection.

The answer is yes. Turning WiFi on does drain the battery, especially when searching for a signal.

With that said, I have WiFi and bluetooth turned on by default. I still get a days life even after 4 months of having the Bold.

I think the bluetooth drains more battery when you constantly talk using bluetooth. I'm not sure if its the bluetooth or just talking that makes the battery drain quicker.
