Storm 2 not working in car all of a sudden--update software?
My storm 2 has worked flawlessly with the bluetooth in my car since I bought the car in February. Now , about three days ago, all of a sudden, when I go to the phone/info button on the car and try to use my speed dials or contacts..it says "call waiting " and there is a counting upwards number.
I went to Verizon, they sent me to Lexus. I went to Lexus, they said that I have to upgrade my software using the cord that came with the phone syncing it with my computer and downloading some BB Suite software? Seems like alot of trouble and kind of ridiculous to have to go through all of that. The lexus rep said it would take about 45 minutes. Add to that, I can't find the cable that came with the phone to do so even if I wanted to.

Could try to delete the bluetooth profile on your blackberry and pair it up again. Bet that would solve it đ

You might try the new Verizon official update OS5.0.0713 which I'm DL OTA right now from the device. Problem is, the car might never start again.,, âšī¸
