Need some help

Work is allowing me to get a new work phone. It will primarily be used for email, phone, and web browsing. How is the storm 2 for that.

The email client on the Storm2 is the best and Blackberry surpasses them all in the smart phone business.

The browser leaves something to be desired. It is slow and does not meet up with Android & the Iphone in speed navigation. Verizon utilizes the Bing browser. You might be better off DL Google Search from BB App World. Its free and places an icon on your home screen.

If you have patience, however, internet browsing is tolerable on the Storm...

especially for work, BB is great due to real-time and functionality but I've had two emails deleted on my S2 (using BIS). example:
- email hits BB yesterday while home computer sleep mode;
- reply to email;
- get home and computer downloads email;
- all normal but...
- next day - the email is missing from my device and I need to refer to it while traveling. My reply is still in the in-box but the original email is truncated and useless.

THAT is why I may be returning this -

Email as a read only device in most instances is very reliable on the Storm2. Infrequently, I compose a reply on the handset but find it time consuming to do so, clicking away at the tiny keyboard. I depend upon my desk top to compose most responses. The situational problems you mentioned seem to be isolated instances.

For most interaction, the BB furnishes dependable communication....

No need to return your device. I think your settings are not configured right. Your going to have to configure your email program on your computer to leave emails on the server for a short amount of time. This wil take care of your missing emails

should have thought of that...but the "3" key still "sticks" so probably going back anyway...phones....can't live with or without'em sometimes.
