You can't delete it. Verizon has set it as the new default browser for it's Blackberry phones (certain models), and the Storm2, specific to this forum.

Want to try other browsers? You can obtain a free Google search link with homescreen icon at the Blackberry App store, or DL Opera Mini & Bolt from the Storm OTA or Crackberry app sites....

Thanks for the Google search link idea 😁

I am not really upset at having Bing, but the idea of having Google replaced by it and not been given the choice is what has me frustrated.
Lost of people mad over what happened in the crackberry world

Your welcome! I've tried URLs with Bing, only to receive a "timed out" message after what seems like endless "requesting" advisories at the bottom of the screen. As soon as I click on my home screen Google Icon, the page loads effortlessly and replicates my desktop "enhanced by Google" AOL info navigator.

Its faster and more reliable than Bing. You won't miss a beat finding links more effectively.

All Storm2 owners....Have a Happy New Year! 😉
