BlackBerry Storm2 9550

Vibrate only mode?

I seem to have the same options set up as my wife's phone, but when I go to the sound icon and select vibrate only, I still get the ringtone sound as well. Any ideas?

On your sound profile screen click on set ringtones/Alerts. Then click on phone. Your volume should be set to silent and vibration to on. Give that a try. If it still persists, you might have a glitch in the phone (Storms famous for that in the past), Other than that, there's no logical reason why your experiencing this problem. Give it a try. I hope it works for you...

I am having that same problem. Tried the above posters solution with no luck. Worked like it was designed to with my Storm1. Any other thoughts anyone?

Actually my problem ended up being the fact that a I have the holster case, and my wife doesn't. When I set the options to holster, it works as advertised.
