Updated Storm 1 OS vs Preloaded Storm 2 OS

I recently updated my Storm 1 OS to the 5.0.0.328 which had 1 HUGELY AWESOME feature. It gave you the ablity to control what emails that come to your phone go in the main message window and which do not.

I then turned around and bought the Storm 2 and gave my Storm 1 to an employee. The Storm 2 out of the box comes with OS 5.0.0.320 vs 5.0.0.328.

Guess what is missing????? That 1 feature.

Any suggestions? Verizon said I could kill my phone if I try putting Storm 1 OS on my Storm 2. I really want that feature. I have 3 email accounts coming to the Storm.

I didn't know that feature was missing in Storm 2 but it is ☚ī¸
From what I was reading in the crackberry forums, that feature was added on 323, 327, and 328 for the Storm 1. I would be willing to bet that as soon as a they leak or release a higher OS that it would have the feature. Not much can be done right now I guess.

I think Verizon is right about killing your phone if you try to put the Storm 1 OS on.

3.28 was probably designed to operate with the 128 Mb app limitation. The 3.20 has parameters for the much greater capacity of the Storm2. I tried to put 3.20 on my Original and received a warning on Desk top Manager. So my Storm1 is still functioning as a paperweight. 🙄
